Our Practice

Paula Becker Sorensen, OD

Dr Paula Sorensen has been practicing in Rapid City for about 15 years. She opened In Vision Optical & Eyecare in 1999. Fitting contact lenses, including specialty lenses , is her passion. Dr. Sorensen was certified in CRT (corneal refractive therapy) in 2004 and continues
to gain knowledge in new lenses and invests in new technology to achieve great results. Dr. Sorensen takes time to evaluate the health of her patients eyes, and checking for cataracts, dry eyes, glaucoma, and macular degeneration are part of every eye examination. Patients of every age are welcome at our office. Dr. Sorensen is a provider in the InfantSee program.

She is married and has two boys, which keep her very busy. She enjoys walking, yoga, reading, and spending time with her family.

Tammy K. Hersch, OD

Dr. Hersch is also a graduate of Pacific University College of Optometry. She provides each and every patient complete and comprehensive exams and truly cares about your vision.

Cathleen James

Cathleen James has been with In Vision since 2009, and currently manages the Front Desk and Insurance within the office.

Lindsey Rokusek

Lindsey joined our team beginning November 2010. We welcomed her after 3 years in retail sales.

Whitney Anderson

Whitney joined our team July 2011. She loves assisting people in picking out new glasses and helps keeps things moving smoothly throughout the office.

KayLee Pearson

KayLee joined our team in September 2011 with 3 years of optical experience. She enjoys picking out new frames to stock for our patients to have a great selection of the latest trends.
